Inspired by Second Chances
Sweet Pearl's Ice Cream was born from an unexpected chapter in founder Will Gibson's life. Following a serious bicycle accident, Will found himself facing months of recovery and uncertainty. Looking for a creative outlet during that time, he began experimenting with homemade ice cream, turning long days of healing into an opportunity to create something joyful.
As flavors were perfected and recipes refined, friends and neighbors quickly became loyal fans. What began as a kitchen hobby soon grew into a community favorite, fueled by encouragement, support, and a shared love of great ice cream.
The inspiration behind the name came from Pearl, a rescue dog adopted by Will and his wife Natalie during his recovery. Pearl's resilience, loyalty, and unwavering companionship became a daily reminder that life's greatest gifts often come from unexpected places. Her story perfectly reflected the spirit behind the business: hope, perseverance, and the power of second chances.
With the support of family, friends, and the local community, Sweet Pearl's grew from a small home operation into the destination it is today at Firewheel Town Center. Every scoop celebrates the journey that brought us here and the people—and pup—who made it possible.
We're honored to share that story with every guest who walks through our doors.
